I honestly don't think the TVA would let her out. Maybe me and John could slip through the cracks because we're not important, but it seems like they're pretty invested in making sure she stays where she is.
The TVA controls not just entire worlds, but entire dimensions and timelines. I don't see why they wouldn't be able to do anything about this one if they wanted to. It doesn't seem all that different from the Void, except maybe a little more civilized.
If she does show up, I'll help. But I really hope we get to keep peace here, for at least a little while. I haven't got to spend a lot of time with things being relatively normal. It's nice.
I talked to him yesterday. We're on the same page, I think. We were on opposite sides, but it was complicated. He left me alone most of the time. When he didn't have orders to fuck with us, he didn't. He seemed pretty unhappy working for her, I think it was a decision based more on surviving than actually wanting to work for her. A lot of people made that same choice. I get it.
He agreed with Erik's opinion of humans and what mutants should be doing.
Erik believed very strongly in mutant rights, and our superiority over humans. His hatred of them led him to doing things against them, but also against us for standing in his way.
I never forced people to stay with me. Everyone was free to choose their own path, including going to Erik.
Kind of funny, in a way. Nobody was superior to anybody in the Void. No one except Cassandra. The rest of us were just rolling around in the dirt, trying to stay alive. I wonder if he learned anything from that, if he feels differently now.
Probably the one in the Void did learn from that. I think removing him from a situation of mutants vs. humanity in general is a way to push him from that path of hatred and resentment. He doesn't want to go there here either.
He's the only person I've ever punched, and he deserved a few more of them. But everyone can improve given the right circumstances, and he's working to prove that.

I'm sorry.
I guess I just didn't want to think it could be possible.

He was one of my students and left to join Erik.
